• We prefer appointments for all piercing & jewelry services. Appointments allow us to provide individual attention to each client. They include time to view our jewelry selection, provide your service, discuss aftercare & anything else you may have questions about.

    If our schedule allows it we will take walk-in services. Walk-ins are taken on a first come first served basis and there is no guarantee we will have availability. Appointments take priority and you should expect a wait. We encourage you to call or text before you stop in.

    We stop taking walk-in services 30 minutes before we close.

    If you are looking to purchase jewelry and do not need help inserting it, you may stop in during business hours.

  • Proper identification is required in person for every appointment, every time. There will be no exceptions.

  • 12+ services:

    Children's lobe piercings, children's lobe downsize, children's lobe insert & jewelry change.

    If you are under 12 years old and have previously been pierced with us, we WILL perform your downsize. You can book for a Children’s Lobe Downsize (8-11yrs) and include the minor's age in the notes of your appointment.

    14+ services:

    Consults, jewelry inserts, jewelry removals, nostril(s), lobe(s), helix, conch & septum.

    16+ services:

    Consults, jewelry inserts, jewelry removals, nostril(s), lobe(s), helix, septum, forward helix, tragus, conch, labret, daith, industrial, rook, navel, eyebrow, side lip, vertical philtrum, vertical labret, philtrum, and monroe.

    18+ services:

  • When purchasing jewelry from Fox & Fern you can have a piercer assist you with installing it or you can take the jewelry to go. We always recommend having the jewelry installed to get the most accurate fit.

    All body jewelry is final sale. Sizing is not guaranteed unless jewelry has been installed by a piercer at the time of the sale. 

    If we installed jewelry for you or pierced you and you’re having an issue with the style or fit of your jewelry, please contact us immediately.

    We do not issue refunds or replace any jewelry that has been lost. 

  • All jewelry at Fox & Fern comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defect. Please bring your jewelry in for complimentary repair/replacement if:

    • the thread or pin has snapped off or broken at solder points and does not appear to be damaged by user

    • gems are discolored, cracked or have fallen out of the setting and do not appear to be damaged by user

    • any components of the jewelry break at solder points and do not appear to be damaged by user

    • threading or pins on jewelry is not properly functioning and do not appear to be damaged by user

    We can repair or modify jewelry that has been damaged by the user for a fee determined by the jewelry company at time of repair. These repairs/modifications can include:

    • items that are cut, scratched or marred from tools by user

    • seam rings and hinge rings that are distorted or scratched 

    • gemstones that have popped out when item is visually crushed, cut, or marred

    • dirty gemstones/designs that do not come clean after soaking or ultrasonic cleaning 

    • Seam ring or hinge ring size adjustments when sizing was approved by user at time of ordering

  • You must cancel or reschedule your appointment through the confirmation email you received when booking. Reschedules & cancellations must be done at least 12 hours before the beginning of your appointment.

    Cancellations will result in a $5 processing fee.

    Reschedules are accepted until 12 hours before your appointment time.

    Deposits vary depending on what service you are booking. If you do not show up to your appointment, show up late, or cancel within 12 hours of the start of your appointment time your deposit will not be refunded.

  • In the event you feel your piercing is not placed appropriately, please contact us within a week of the original piercing date. If we determine there is an issue with placement, we will correct the piercing free of charge.

  • If you do not show up to your appointment, show up late, or cancel within 12 hours of the start of your appointment time your deposit will not be refunded.

    If you are 5 minutes (or more) late to your appointment, it will be cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited.

  • We will not pierce with or insert outside jewelry or jewelry that is not from a reputable body jewelry manufacturer. Wearing high quality jewelry is essential for the health of your piercing whether it is fresh or healed.

    If you would like to get re-pierced with jewelry purchased at Fox & Fern or Gold Fox, you must bring your jewelry in 24hrs before your appointment for cleaning and processing. Appointments are not required to drop off jewelry. Please call or text ahead of time to be sure we are in the studio.
